Home appliance refrigerator freezer – FAQ and Solution
Answer: possible causes include: 1. Too low mould temperature; 2. Too short demoulding time; 3. Surface of liner or side plate is polluted; 4. Poor adhes
1. Layering between liner or housing and foam
Answer: possible causes include: 1. Too low mould temperature; 2. Too short demoulding time; 3. Surface of liner or side plate is polluted; 4. Poor adhesive property of material and foam.
2. Foam shrinkage
Answer: possible causes include: 1. Improper proportion of black material and white material, more white material, low density; 2. Insufficiency of foaming materials, lower foam core density; 3. Improper mixture of black material and white material, more white material at certain location and softening foam; 4. Too short demoulding time; 5. Excessive foaming agent, lower free foam density.
3. Cavity or bubble of foam
Answer: possible causes include: 1. Insufficiency of foaming material, lower foam core density; 2. Too low or too high mould temperature, having an impact on its fluidity; 3. Too low or too high raw material temperature, having an impact on its fluidity; 4. Improper proportion of black material and white material, resulting in higher free foam density and poor fluidity; 5. Too low foaming agent content, resulting in higher free foam density and poor fluidity; 6. Improper location of air vent, adding air vent according to flow direction and end mixing surface; 7. Poor mixture of black material and white material, checking the injection pressure of black material and white material.
4. Demoulding expansion
Answer: possible causes include: 1. Excessive foaming material, too high foam core density; 2. Too low mould temperature, especially in winter, having an impact on foam curing; 3 Too low raw material temperature, having an impact on curing speed; 4. Too low proportion of black material and white material, lower free foam density and higher expansion coefficient; 5. Excessive foaming agent content, resulting in lower free foam density and higher expansion coefficient; 6. Too short demoulding time, poor curing effect; 7. Poor mould press-fit or insufficient inner tyre pressure.
5. Moulding flash
Answer: possible causes include: 1. Excessive foaming material, too high foam core density; 2. mould temperature and material temperature are beyond prescribed limit; 3. Poor tank sealing; 4. Too low proportion of black material and white material, lower free foam density; 5. Too low foaming agent content, lower free foam density; 6. Poor mixture; 7. Too low viscosity of raw material or too slow reaction speed.
